LUT Previewer

A LUT (look-up table) maps every colour in a picture to a new colour, which is how filmmakers and editors apply a grade in one step. This free LUT previewer lets you drop in your own .cube file or try one of eight built-in looks, then compare before and after with a slider and download the result as a PNG. Everything runs in your browser, so your footage never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

What is a .cube LUT?

A .cube file is a plain-text 3D lookup table that most grading apps export. Each line gives the output colour for one point in the RGB cube. This previewer reads 3D LUTs up to 65 points per side. 1D LUTs are not supported.

Does my footage get uploaded?

No. The image, the LUT and the result all stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why is the intensity slider there?

Full strength is often too strong. Mixing the graded colour with the original at 40 to 70 percent is a common way to keep skin tones natural while keeping the look.
